The word laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.  "Cold lasers" produce low temperature or "non-thermal" reactions through  photo-bio-activation  at average powers under 500 milliwatts ( 0.5 watts).  They have become increasingly popular for the treatment of sprains, pain (both acute & chronic), wounds, scars.  Much of the earlier work originated in Europe in the mid 60's.

The use of cold lasers spread to the USA in the 1980's...mostly in equine medicine...The Internet is a wonderful attic of sorts.  This is how I found out about one of the best kept secrets of the 90's:  Dennis' LIGHT WAVE   LASER.  I almost did not call him.  I am supposed to be a scientist.  Such things are considered "fringe"..."peripheral" at best...So first I scoffed...and scoffed...until I remembered I was supposed to ask questions.  I am a serious skeptic.  That is part of my training. Every question triggers twenty new ones (at least).  I leave no stone unturned....   I listen.  I scrutinize.  I walk round and around a problem to study it from different perspectives.  This is what I was taught to do.  I love what I do.  I love tools that work.  I love to build cabinets.  I love to refurbish an old armoire, a frail cart, stained  glass...   I greatly enjoy my electric drill and my newly discovered power saw.  To my regret, I do not paint.  I do not sew.  I do not quilt.  But I  do stitch...mostly wounds, lacerations.  I mend  broken bones and broken hearts too once in a while.  I like making things a little better than I  found them...

I love tools that work. Light Wave Laser works.  I cannot begin to explain how it works.  I do not  know  how it works.  The old "placebo effect"?   Light Wave Laser has no bells or whistles.  No flashing lights.

Light Wave Laser  works.

What about a placebo effect on animals?

I acquired my own  Light Wave Laser  in September 1998.   I have treated at least 60 patients so far.  Hardly a controlled, double-blind study.

The Spanish Inquisition condemned Galileo to house arrest for supporting Coppernicus' theory that the earth revolves around the sun...but it does, does it not?

So much for the inertia which governs our thoughts.  We are creatures of habit.  We resist change. We resist and fear even the prospect of change.

I want to share  the following   anecdotes with you.

LIGHT WAVE   LASER  is  no  s panacea.   Light Wave Laser  does  not  "cure"  all  ills.

It is merely  one  tool in an arsenal of treatments   available to help you.

Think outside the box.

  Think outside the box.

Arthritis of her feet for years according to Bill J.

May 1999:  she tried the limited version of Theralaser (one diode laser instead of 7diodes) .  Bill J. tells me she experienced improvement after one treatment.  Bill J. is a considerate man.  Is Bill J. simply trying to be kind to his doctor?
